Reviews
I had the pleasure of recording with Lancaster a few times, the last one for the Aruanas miniseries 2nd season, for Globoplay. I was surprised by his arsenal of effect pedals, in which he manipulated incredible sounds that were paramount to the final conception. In addition to being a great musician, he has this creative side to the sound of the instrument.

Lancaster, for some time now, has been one of the most frequent bass players on our Boogie Woogie recordings. He’s really easy to work with, because besides being an exceptional musician, he also contributes immensely with his consistently great ideas. In addition to being a perfectionist with tone quality, with the sound coming from his instruments and his impeccable technique, his refined humor makes for an environment of great harmony, which, obviously, reflects positively on the outcome.

Lancaster is an extraordinary musician who manages to combine the most important qualities for a recording session or concert: harmonic knowledge, precision technique, wide sonority and a firm playing style. He’s a safegard for any band! A high level bass player.
Paulinho Moska
Singer and Composer
In my 45 years of professional life I’ve recorded with hundreds of musicians, each with their own way of thinking music. What strikes me most about them is their personality when playing their instrument. Lancaster is one of those instrumentalists that you’ll recognize the sound from the very first note. He plays with heart and soul, imprinting that emotion on every session we do together. This alone makes him one of my favorite Brazilian bass players.
